SeNT Lab. is an interdisciplinary research unit comprised university staff, doctoral students, diploma students and undergraduates from the Departments of Computer Science at "Politehnica" University of Timisoara. Research is concentrated on sensor networks: architectures, operating systems, programming tools and applications.

It was founded at "Politehnica" University of Timisoara in 2005 as a result of an earlier colaboration with VLSI System Design Labortory, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA.
